Missed out on this one. . . had unexpected vistors at the house this weekend. Sure do wish people would give me some kind of warning before just showing up on my doorstep, bags in hand, looking for a place to sleep. SHEESH!!

And. . .my hard drive crashed on Wednesday so I haven't been able to get on FB at all. I bet all my animals are dead from starvation. Should have it back tonight, though. . .

 

Hate that you couldn't make it. We have a dozen cars there and lots of fun. Next time!!

We had a great time Saturday and hope to do it again. I think it would be great if we had a monthly cruise-in somewhere.

 

I'm all for that! A set Saturday or Sunday for a monthly meeting is a great idea. I think that would a great way to keep things rolling, too.

 

We could vote on a place and time. The Burgers and cream works for me, and is cool because it's car friendly. The downside???? No beer!!!
I'll do a fb post on the matter.

 

Burgers and Cream is in the same location as Moe's and they not only have beer but we could probably get a discount there because the owner is a MINI person.

 

We can always mix it up and go to different places too.

 

I like that idea as long as everyone keeps up with the plan.

 

Agreed on the Moe's version. They got Beer! And to top it off, the owner is a Mini guy (simportis)

BTW, if anyone is interested (probably not) the west side of town has a great place called The Brewhouse. The have a monthly classic car meet durung the summer. They would most likely be in on a group meet, but I dont want to say anything to them unless I thought there would be people there. Cool place on Hwy100, near the Williamson County line.

Well, we have to decide what Saturday of the month since we just had one, I don't know. We could maybe just say the first Saturday of the month and go from there. I don't care.

First Saturdays make sense for me. My son's scouting events tend to be end of the month.
