Constant/Switching power to HU

Am I retarded? I can't find the switching lead? Is it the brown/red thicker wire? If so then how should I run a constant power lead to the aftermarket HU? I am just thinking of running an inline 30amp to the battery. Do I need to ground that wire as well? Is there even a switching power source for an aftermarket HU? Please someone clarify. I have been searching all night and can't find exactly the direct answer.

If the HU is fused by a 15amp than I should run a 30amp? Correct? What voltage reading should I get from testing the brown/red if it is indeed a switching source?

Thanks

Yeah thanks. I found that yesterday while attempting install. I have to run a constant? Would I have to ground the constant?
