Hello!

So, all my glass in my car is manufactured by Saint Gobain Sekurit EXCEPT the back window, which is made by SPLITEX. They ALL have the MINI Logo so it's all OEM glass, just thought it was weird a different company made the back window. Can you guys check to see if this is the same on your first gen 2005-2006 or maybe even pre - 04?

And when it comes to windshields, I am looking at getting the Saint Gobain Sekurit brand again, but since I am not getting it at the MINI dealer, it won't have the MINI logo on it, but it's the same brand. I save a lot of money doing it this way and it is OEM (I have the heated windshield + rain sense) and I don't want it to mess up.

Any comments, suggestions, etc would be excellent from people that have done windshields before.

Correct, my back windows is also Splitex.

 

March 2003 build R50.
Splitex for both doors and rear hatch
Saint Gobain Sekurit on the windshield and both rear side windows.
