Hi Gang,

My MINI is in....I ordered it with 16" A84 White wheels. I like the look of the white wheels on the B/W MINI. The dealer called me to day to tell me the MINI was in and to confirm my wheel choice. The adder for the A84's is 880.00....are there any other options that would give me a better looking wheel....maybe a slight more offset?

Should I stay with the 16's or go with 17's

Thanks for the help!
Bobbyn

My 2 cents, save your money unless you want to buy my factory 17" (seriously, they're for sale). You can always choose you're own 17" at your leisure

You're dealer is ripping you off at 880.00 for A84s. Get the default anywheels and shop for good wheels at your leisure.

As cool as white wheels look when they're clean, the stock brake pads make lots and lots of brake dust. Unless you take great pleasure in cleaning your wheels, skip em.Take the wheels and tires it came with.
Drive it for a few weeks on the roads it will see most often, then, decide between 16 or 17" wheels.

(My dealer told me if I bought his wheels I would end up with 2 sets of rims, he wouldn't credit me for the originals. $880, is that including labor ? At that price, was he giving your wheels back, he should have been.)
Do some homework, lot's of it then:
Get some lightweight non-runflat 17 or 16 inch wheels from the local tire chain.

Or go to tirerack.com

Which OZ wheels are available in white? Just curious - I thought the Superleggerras were discontinued?

White wheels look great, even when there're not perfectly clean. The best looking wheels I've seen on a MINI are the white Prodriver wheels. Tire Rack doesn't have them anymore.

Can you provide us with a picture of the white OZ wheels?

I must have misunderstood you. OZ Superleggera Corse (the white one) was discontinued. I appologise for the miscommunication.

Alex

If you are getting the B'stone P03 tires yoiu will love them. I had a set on a previous car and they were absolutely fantastic.

Bobbyn,

Thanks. Wheels only were sold. I was running the Yoko Parada Spec2's - 205/45/17, no rubbing at all. Car is lowered with the standard H&R spirngs. 1.5" front, 1.3" rear, if I recall correctly. Now running OZ Chron Evo's....
