Anyone use Harbor Freight's Cen-Tech Scanner?

only $99 per flyer. could use one for Honda Passport winter ride / gfriends Rav4 too.

These are fine and probably will do a good job.
However, I have a simple code reader that will clear the codes and only paid $50 through Amazon. There really is no need for much because unless you have the MINI specific shop computer you will be just reading general codes.
You can also get a ScanGuage II that will read & clear codes, and give real time info from the ODB port (temp, timing advance, MPG, etc).
I have a ScanGuage in the MINI and use the code reader for the other cars.

x2 on what he said.

Also, check out Bavarian Technic @ FES-auto.com as it does a lot more then read just generic OBDII codes.

Thanks, do you know the brand name of the unit from Amazon?

Does this also tell you how much boost you are generating or would that require something different?
