Interior/Exterior Euro Armrest HELP needed
Euro Armrest HELP needed
I've read all the posts about armrests in this forumn and others. I'm still undecided. I have a 2003 MINI Cooper manual shift and I'm 6' 2". Since I've had the car I've had the Elbow Landing Device from GotMini. I like it but would like to upgrade to a better armrest. I'm considering the Euro fliptop armrest that installs under the seat bolts. My question is for Tall drivers
(6 foot anf over) with manual shift does the Euro armrest bother you when you shift? If I order it from my dealer (best price I've found) it's a special order and can't be returned. None of the cars on the lot have the Euro armrest which I hear sits higher than the OEM factory one. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Answered my own question
I'll answer my own question. YES the Euro armrest gets in the way of shifting for me. I should have stayed with the Elbow Landing Device. It's too bad though because the Euro armrest looks good and fits with the interior and is an easy install. I'll give it more time but so far I think it has to go!

I didn't see your original post but wanted to just say that I agree with your findings. I am 6'2" as well and don't have an armrest in my mini because of that reason. I kept bumping it and accidentally opening it up with my elbow during shifts.
