We have one last chance to motor into the mountains before the weather turns nasty and to hopefully catch some of the fall colors.

"Meet at the Starbucks in north Golden, CO. (114 North Rubey Drive Golden) basically HWY 93 and North Washington around 09:30. Roll out at 10:00 and head up Golden Gate Canyon Road, north on the Peak to Peak Highway with a short cut through Raymond then down to Lyons, CO. Once in Lyons we will stop at Oskar Blues Grill & Brew (303 Main Street Lyons) to grab a bite and hang out. Also at 303 Main Street Lyons is, Lyons Classic Video at Oskar Blues with over 25 video game titles from the 1980s plus pinball machines. Fun for all who will join us."

Me too. We'll be on our way to Santa Fe & Albuquerque for the Int'l Balloon Fiesta and family visits. It's balloon nylon colors instead of aspen colors. Have fun!

 

I think I'm free so I put my name on the calendar. I sure do hope this isn't the last good weather weekend - got Yalla Yalla coming up in November.

No, the rules clearly state we must start in Colorado for Yalla Yalla. Now, where we end up that is entirely different - after all it is on a Saturday this year.
