Thanks. I heated them up with a hair drier and peeled them off easily. Used Goo Gone to remove some of the leftover residue and then used Meguires Ultra Cut Compound and Final Polish with a Portor Cable buffer. Topped it off with Optimum Spray Wax.

I also removed the Cooper S badge and moved the JCW badge to the other side.

What did you use to reapply your JCW badge with? I'm wanting to move the position of mine too, but don't know what to attach it with.

Much better

Except now the back makes it look like you have a factory JCW..

I personally love the sport stripes, but it looks good without them also. Gotta love the Pepper White and Black combo....

How are you liking the Alta Tune? Are you running a stage one?

Since you asked, I like it better with the stripes. But whatever makes YOU happy.

Looks good both ways, maybe think about losing the amber in the headlights if that is possible

Looks good but, you are in front of the wrong stadium.

I like it. I removed mine about a month ago with plans to replace them with something from AC or Lyles but I like it without them so may leave it that way for a while. To each his/her own of course but my 2¢ is that stripes have become so "everybody has them" that naked MINIs are more noticeable.

I like both. Just depends on what you prefer. What did you use to reattach the JCW logo on the back?

I think it looks much cleaner without them. Very nice Mini!

Your car is beautiful! Stripes or no stripes. But I would vote "no stripes".

It's funny...the guys who have stripes like your car WITH 'em. The guys who don't have stripes seem to prefer the cleaner look on your car.
I've gone from stock bonnet stripes to no stripes to viper stripes.
I think the MINI looks good with or without. It's a car that has so many different looks...stripes/no stripes - it's all good.
Your Pepper White looks a bit more sophisticated without the stripes...less racer guy. Either way, you have a really great looking MINI!

I was almost too embarrassed to take pictures in front of the Cowboys Stadium. They are a joke this year but that stadium is awesome. I've been there three times. I guess I will have to cheer for the Texas Rangers as they clinch the AL West.

Great. My first AccessPort had a problem and Alta sent me another overnight. They already had my new map loaded and I just installed it on my car. It runs perfect now. It pulls really hard. I love it. My catless downpipe will be in tomorrow. That should be worth a few more HP. When I had my WRX with an Cobb AP I had a catless turbo back exhaust. In Texas I was still able to pass inspection because the AP removes the CEL.

I've got the new headlights on order with the clear lens. Should be here this week.

I used 3M Heavy Duty trim/molding tape. You can get it at any auto parts store for about 5 bux a roll.

I'm not a fan of stripes on most cars but the MINI does look good with them. I knew at least 50% of the people on here like it better with them. Mine had a lot on scratches on them. My paint is good, just the stripes were looking bad. That made my decision even easier to remove them. Now I like it better.

my last MINI was an 06 S with aero, PW/W with no stripes and dark wheels, and I can tell you, it's still one of my favorite looks for this car. Yours looks SWEET. Sometimes the blackout headlight rings can overcontrast with the white and give it a clown car look (says the imminent Clubman owner) but in your case it totally works.
