I'm returning my lease, and it has the bracket installed, so I want to remove it so I can potentially install it in a new car.

The dealer installed the bracket, so I'm curious as to how much I should remove, such that when I get a new car I can get it installed again, not missing any parts.

Does X9002 stay on the car? Should there be a 'cover' that I install when I remove the wiring harness?

Are the screws longer than stock/I should get new/shorter ones to replace them when I return the car?
