Okay to Store Gasoline in a Techron Bottle?

In short, do you think that storing gasoline in a Techron bottle would damage the bottle over time?

I'm using a gas additive blend that consists of one ounce of one additive and one and a half ounces of another additive per tankful of gas. The smallest additive-safe bottle I have with a spout that fits in the MINI filler neck is six ounces and it has a fairly sharp shoulder at the neck. The additive mixture is also fairly thick, so it coats the inside of the bottle, leaving quite a bit of the additive mixture behind in the bottle after I'm done pouring it into the tank.

I really like the long skinny neck on the Techron bottle, but with the larger interior surface area, I feel like I'm still going to be leaving quite a bit of the additive behind on the walls of the bottle. What I'd like to do is put the 2.5 ounces of additive in an empty Techron bottle and then fill the bottle the rest of the way up with gasoline. This will thin out the additive to make pouring easier in cold weather, and a smaller percentage of what's left behind in the bottle when I'm done pouring will be additive.

Sure.....do it....Techron is just a distlate like fuel. Just be careful, and store it in a big ZipLock bag, and watch out for leakage....the bottle is not meant for resealing....it has a seal you break to pour out the orgional product, and a waxed paper seal at the top of the plastic cover...if it gets saturated, it will soften, and leak......that and no way to vent off vapor pressure...so if the pressure builds..it might leak if it is tipped....

That should be fine.

Don't try to keep gas in a styrofoam cup though. I learned that when I was a kid. The hard way.
