May need to dust off them winter duds

Drink plenty of water, helps with altitude sickness. The run up and back will help with attitude sickness!!

You know Chuck, that part of the road up is dirt, right?
Who is bring the computer reset tool for after the ride too, as this will definitely set off the warning light

I will try my best to be there guys. My plane is leaving Kuwait some time on the 20th up to the 22nd, and when I get home I still need to get my tags, and reinstate my insurance. Lots to do but I can make it.

I can do a little dirt especially since the Conclave will be over.
I went up Evans last weekend and never got a light and got some of my best gas mileage ever at 31.8 mpg (and I was going a little fast).

I go up Mt. Evans and my boost gauge only goes up to 6 psi if I'm lucky, It does save gas not having any air though.

Hows the snow situation looking on top of Pikes peak?

As for the dirt part, there's only 2 miles of it, usually hard-packed (low dust.)

Hopefuly 15, they have been delaying peoples flights out of this sand pit, and I might not be able to get back in time. I also heard that as long as I am carying a copy of my deployment orders I can drive on my expired plates while I'm on leave, so that will save a little time.

Any updates on weather conditions on the top of the mountian?

Meeting Up Before Pikes Peak

There was some talk at the meeting at the Shelby Museum about people coming from the north meeting up near Castle Rock (same place we met before the Castle to Castle) before heading down to the Springs for the Pikes Peak run. Anybody game for that?

Be careful driving with expired tags. Some cops in the Springs give a break while others do not. We had numerous guys get tickets even with orders.

Well unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it at all, They decided to move the day I fly out of here to the 26th.

If anybody else wants to come up with a ride the next weekend, or go to test and tune at Bandemere next Wednsday, let me know. I will also be posting some teaser pics of the parts I have collected when I get back.

Count us in on meeting at Jennys market and Conoco. Do they have lunch at the top of Pikes Peak? Maybe we can ask Savannah Rickli to lead the way up!

Ok, so here it is in a nutshell:

Northeners will meet at the Conoco/Jennys Market (I-25 exit 188 NW Corner) around 7:45 and depart for Colorado Springs at 8:00 via:

This route

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...07274&t=h&z=12

It says it will take us 70 mins to make it so we should make it just in time.

Arriving at the CO Springs meetup location no later than 9:00 to head up the mountain.

Enjoy
