question about aux please help

i have a satellite radio installed in my 06 mcs and i jus purchased an outmotoring aux and was wondering if the satellite radio got in the way of the port for the aux behind the HU everyone made is sound so easy to "feel for the place to plug the jack in"

Do you mean the factory Sirius, or aftermarket? The factory satellite radio uses the CD changer connection and shouldn't interfere with installing aux.

If you have factory Navigation, you'll need to transfer a couple of wires between connectors. See this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lled-pics.html

If you are unable to reach around and feel the location to plug in, it is easy enough to pull the radio. Remove the Torx screws that hold the downtubes and pull the tubes straight down. The bottoms will still be attached, but you can spread the tops apart which will expose the Torx mounting screws for the radio. Remove the screws and pull out the radio.

thx i have a factory sirius i believe since its located where the cd changer is suppose to be in the back... ill give it a few more tries if i cant get it i guess i will have the pop the HU out and plug it in from there thx again = )
