Import Auto Tech of Colo Spgs is hosting a coffee/pastries and informal car show on Saturday Sept 18 in downtown Colo Spgs from 09:00 - 11:00 a.m. Details:

Coffee and pastries via Starbucks (SE of Bijou & N Tejon)

Park cars within a block of Starbucks (should be ample space; we'll have coins for parking meters)

Get your coffee/pastries (tell them you are with Import Auto)

Move around and meet other MINI enthusiasts and MINIs/Minis

Show your car

Thread stuck, I'll add a calendar link soon. I'll try to make it, this falls on the same day as the Conclave though so I might have to split my time.

 

Just an FYI, this is the Conclave weekend in Arvada, with the Ride the Rockies on Saturday the 18th, and the Car show on Sunday the 19th.

 

Bummer. Well.. this could be for the people not partaking in the Conclave.

Lots of newer members out there, this maybe a perfect opportunity to mingle/network.

 

It is within 10 miles of my house, so I will be there in the classic!

 

We have a few more folks who've RSVPed. A few logistics notes:

1. Pls park as close to the Starbucks as possible. The parking slots have park meters, and we'll have extra quartes for those who may need them

2. We'll give you a voucher for coffee, etc. for up to $5. Pls see me or Monica (my wife) for the voucher

3. I and a couple of my guys will be there around 8:30, and will help with logistics, etc. as needed.

4. We can also discuss the 9/25 run to Pike Peak, and as the Tourmeister, I am open to suggestions.

That sounds good. There is a local car show/get together on Saturdays here in the Springs. I took the Classic and R56 there last Saturday. Both gathered some good attention. We could do that as a separate get together. I will come up with a date and post it up as an ad hoc thing. It would be great to have a bunch of MINIs show up.
