Navigation & Audio Help, Setup!
Help, Setup!
So from the dealer I was told that the car I am getting has the following;
609 Navigation system
674 Harman-Kardon sound system
I am coming from a Subaru Legacy where I COMPLETELY redid the sound system in the car. I was thinking about going this route; http://www.crutchfield.com/s_1369405...ox.html?tp=113
If I do, does anyone recommend any good/but on the cheap-ish amp AND..
Can I hook it up to the HK/Stock headunit? If I want to install an aftermarket headunit will I lose the GPS, and with the HK headunit is there an iPod hook up like Alpine has for it's headunits?
Many questions, and I thank you in advance.

I went with these guys for a sub enclosure: www.audiointegrations.net They sent me a coupon code a bit ago in a follow up email, pm me if you want it.
If you're looking for a small sized amp I'd look into the alpine pdx series, or the Jl audio Xd. It's like amps are getting smaller every year.
I know the jl will accept a high level input so you can grab the input signal to the amp off of the rear speakers, put in a bass **** to control the sub output and you should be good to go.
If you go aftermarket head unit you will lose the navigation, unless someone here has found an aftermarket adapter that allows you to keep it. I'm far behind the times on ipod info so you better off looking around the for an ipod adapter/reviews
