What do i have?
Hey all, new here and I just recently purchased my mini! Lovin it!
I was parked right next to another mini only black top and bonnet stripes, he also had a bit of a different looking body kit on it, but it looked factory. It was black and wrapped around into the black fenders i have and also had the black plastic mesh looking back bumper... can someone tell me what i have and dont have here, particullarly with the body and lighting. I want to paint the fenders or get painted fenders and drop it about an inch and a half, on 18's, tinted to like 20%. Anyways if you can give me any clue here it would be great.

Thanks alot! im adding a top down photo, but its hard to see. they look the same, except if you look and the front area of the black bonnet mini youll see a lip or air dam, wich is black. the back is much more factory, less aftermarket.

according to your top view pic... its def 2nd gen, R56. Front chrome grill/headlamps give it away immediately.
With that said, its prob just the regular body. You got the Aero kit... which is a factory option.

I believe what you have is a 2nd gen Cooper S Hardtop with the early aero kit, as a matter of fact it is definetly a 2nd gen Cooper S Hardtop with an aero kit, just not sure which aero kit. Nice ride, Good Luck with it.

thanks a ton! I used to have a gti, and was gonna go back to vw but I test drove this one and learned better. These cars are where its at, and people are missing out with all there frump!
