What Hood Scoop Is This?
I am looking into replacing my hood scoop(with one that actualy grabs more air). Problem is there arent verry many that I like. The M7 RAM scoop has a good look for a street setup, but it realy isnt much bigger than stock. The Voltage scoop looks to be almost identical. Even though I am going to be running a DFIC I think the DFIC scoop looks lopsided and HIDEOUS(Yes peter I just said that
, no hard feelings just personal taste.) The last remaining BIG scoops on the market that I can find also look like poop in my opinion. I have found one GIANT scoop that I actualy like, problem is I cant find any info on who the manufacturer was/is. I saw it on a car last year at MITM (Copper MT.) and have recently fallen in love with the Simple but Abnormal style(hey its just like ME.
Perfect!) I hope the MINI5280 member who has it dosent mind but here is a pic of the front of their car.(To be honest I'm not diggin the body kit)
Any info that I can get on this scoop, or ones like it would be helpful to me. Or if somebody has one laying around, I will gladly BUY it if you are willing to sell.

I found it.
It is evidently a Palo Uber scoop. Unfortunately it was a shady sort of buisness (it would take MONTHS to recive parts, rusty lug nuts, ect) and the guy behind the buisness just vanished.
So my chances of geting one are almost non existant, UNLESS somebody has one they no longer want, or a different manufacturer can make a close replica. But if a replica was to be made, and was only changed enough to keep out of trouble with the patent office, I would buy one.

Correct. And yes, there are vast archives of information here on NAM concerning PU and their somewhat "dynamic" existence. Probably enough reading material to last you through your deployment. It is an interesting case study in the power of the consumer and how public opinion can eventually prevail in the end.
Seems as though this scoop of theirs was one of the items that enjoyed some level of popularity, and off-hand I don't remember people complaining about any specific quality issues with them. So there are probably some still running around out there. Perhaps if you post in the "Want to Buy" section of the NAM Marketplace you could elicit some success. Good luck.
