That is prolly one of my all time favorite articles...doesn't matter how many times i read it - still awesome.

For those of you that haven't read it - DO READ it - don't just scan through the pictures...it is well worth it.

HP to weight ratio to an extreme! I think like 16lbs on our MINIs is tantamount to 1HP? Oh, it's something like that. One word though - MODERATION

My MINI is already quite small on the front and back.
Maybe a gas tank the size of a soda can would be good?
Why did the driver not starve himself to loose weight or perhaps drain out a pint or two of extra blood. If they save it he could always get it back later (autologous transfusion).
Why not hire some 13 year old to drive the car-someone small about 4 feet 6 and 80 pounds. How about a smarter than average simian?

Anyway that wasn't "really" free. Still had labor costs.

I'm not picking on the above person, but when it comes to grammar errors or mis-spelled words, for some reason loose is always substituted for lose. I probably see it 20 times a day and well, I just feel like correcting it this time.

LOOSE means something doesn't fit; LOSE means the opposite of win or you had something but now you don't.

Thank you!

===>Today's trend is the double consonant/vowel.

*Examples: "dirrty", "herre",...

Why isn't the driver ducked behind the wheel? That could easily net a sub 14.

The issue after they ran that article was filled with stupid letters about how they should not have chopped up a Nissan. Or how it was irresponsible to suggest cutting pieces out of the car. It really pointed out how much I bring up the average IQ of their subscribers.

This really is a great idea for a drag race car, but structurally would it work for a mini and driving on fun roads? I'm sure Mini would sell a car of similar spec's if someone ordered it. Probably pretty reasonably in price.

Your truely can't have both a drag car and a twisty turner. Well yes they can run a quarter mile in a twisty car, but you really can't drive a curve in a drag car.

I made that mistake once in my life, try to get both. I have what they call a pro street car. Its has got to be the stiffest ride around. Changing lanes and the dits in the road send shock waves through the entire car( drivers)
oh I forgot, that car is made to go only forward . the side to side action is a definite no go.

Yet MINI did a great thing by putting the battery in the boot. set it low too, good ballast if you want to launch of the line, well except being front wheel drive the more weigh up front is better.

We are so very blessed to have such a fun car to drive, that go around the corners and keep the wheels going straight where the miles are not broken down in to 1/4 sections we get to motor around as many curves side to side for as
long as we want. let the ricers and muscle car lovers have their quarter mile sprints. we know what they are missing!!
04 MCS JCW blossom.

ps I am sorry if I failed to pass spell check 101

Conversely, I like drag racing and don't feel it takes away from corner carving at all ... unless you go too far one way or the other. Check the timeslip database in my sig.
