Indy mechanic in North Jersey

Hello fellow Miniacs,
I am new to the Mini but not to the BMW... Very happy with the switch.
I am used to getting oil changed in my cars every 5-7.5K miles regardless of what the computer or the manual says... You can never change the oil too often.
Can anyone help me find a good mechanic in the North Jersey area who knows Minis well... I would probably wanna take it for frequent oil changes and other minor work while the car is still under warranty...

I found these in North Jersey on minirepairshops.com: does anyone have any experience with these guys and if there are others who know Mini Coopers...

How much do dealerships charge for a routine oil change that's outside of the covered maintenance (or for a car with >36K miles)?

Thanks to all

I know a GREAT guy who just did my lower control arm bushings, oil pan gasket, crank sensor seal, ball joints, radiator fan, Koni's and sway bar bushings. In one day and WAY below what a dealer charges. PM me and I'll get you his number although he may want to do things more complicated that oil changes which you really should learn to do yourself.

This guy really knows what he is doing and prefers that you bring the parts so you save there too.

Obviously things may vary from dealer to dealer, but at my local MINI dealer, an oil change outside of the standard, requested maintenance schedule is $109! I was told this was due to the other items they do as part of the normal routine, as well as the cost of the filter and synthetic oil. Needless to say, I'll be doing my own supplemental oil changes between the maintenance ones.
