Can anybody tell me where in Indiana(polis) I can find a knowledgeable MINI Mechanic where I can take Butters this week? (Not the dealership)

Butters = 2005 Just-a-Cabrio

Here’s the issue: No power and no codes or warning lights of any kind.

When I try to accelerate, I have VERY LITTLE power at all. I can honestly push Butters faster than he accelerates. My guess is 0-30mph in 90seconds at best.

As soon as I hit 4000rpm, I lose all power & the engine revs to just above redline, so I lift off the gas & let the rpms go back down. Is this "Limp Mode"?

What can cause such a massive power loss with no codes or warnings?

I would appreciate any help.

Butters had his appointment with Dr. Waylen last night...

...diagnosis, The clutch is gone.

Waylen will be back in town in the middle of August, so Butters is on bed rest for about a month.
