Diamondback vs Dragon

The Diamondback in Western North Carolina is not quite as curvy as the Dragon however it is fun to drive and easier to get to for many folks. From Interstate 40 take Exit 85 and travel north for approx. 12 miles on US 221/226 to US 226A. 226A is called the Diamondback and offers 190 steep, climbing curves in just 12 miles.

Any of these roads are fun with the MINI!

I'll have to try that. Not that far for me and the Dragon which is only 20 mins from me has lost its appeal with all of the Police and such.

Thanks for the heads up. I agree with the above post. I'm from Knoxville and the Dragon just isn't that much fun anymore....

I'm from Ohio & the dragon isn't all that. There are so many nice roads down there I find no reason to do the dragon. I'll leave it to the wanna be racers & the cops.

Thanks for the heads up on the Diamondback. Sounds nice!
