FMIC insatllation

Doe anyone know or recommend someone to install a FMIC for a 2007 cooper S? It's a Helix.

Thanks,
Jorge

Yes, Wes Perry who used to work for Schomp, perhaps he will do a moon-light. You can catch him on Facebook.

He did mine and Mr. U's JCW.

Not sure if he is doing any MINI stuff, I do know he spends a lot of time on the boat....

Send me your number in a PM or email, I will pass it along to Wes and see if he is interested in some moon-light work for a friend.

Don

I am still in Omaha, but back on Friday PM. Off line after tonight. So.....

Did you get your shipping info and have someone lined up for the install?

Let us know what you think, you will have the new style/enhanced Helix FMIC.

Yes! Finally got my tracking #. Installation is next Mon. by SCR at 8 a.m., once that is done I'm dropping it off at Auto Image so they can install the JCW aero kit. I think it will look sharp.

This will be great, are you having the everything painted or leaving the fenders in black rubber?

Pictures are a must when it is done.

Finally! I had the Helix FMIC installed this morning by SCR Performance. It took a couple of hrs., I could tell a difference specially at the the higher end in 3rd and 4th gears. Much better! Once that was done I dropped it off at Auto Image in Littleton for the JCW aero kit installation. If they get to it today, it will be done by tomorrow. If they start tomorrow I can pick up Wed. I'm already having Mini withdrawals, ha ha! I wish I knew how to post pics.

Host them somewhere. Here in your albums, photobucket, whatever. If you're on a windows machine, when you see the image, right click on it and select properties. Somewher on that will be the address. Copy that and then click on the little graphic icon when you are posting. The little square with the mountains up above the text area. Then past the address you copied into the address area when the requestor pops up.

Anyway, screw around with it a bit, and you'll get the hang of it.

Matt, good short tutorial. Jorge, if you need some help PM me and we can dialog or you can call me on the cell.

I believe Jorge got the 2nd gen of the Helix FMIC, it should give him some better flow and cooling.

I really want to see Jorge's JCW kit intall and the FMIC and hear his impressions.

It will be like getting a new MINI.

Ya, I brand new Mini. That would be nice. I like mine too much. Auto Image called this morning, and it's a good possibility that I could pick up this evening.

You can check out 4 pics by clicking my gallery. Early version all stock, later version tinted windows no aero kit, latest version with the aero kit, FMIC if you can see it, red pinstripe wheels, and other mods.
