New Mini Laurel
Found out about this model a month ago and bought it today. Thought about buying a MCS 2 years ago. A 6 speed and a twin scroll are a nice combo.

Twin scroll.... As in supercharger?
Am I lost or just in the wrong section?

LOL, well, if you're talking about forced induction...yes.
Twin scroll refers to a supercharger, R56's (2007+) use turbos.
No big deal, I was a little confused... thought you came across something we all missed...lol.

I know, I know...took you forever to post up pics.
Everyone above is right...you got the new model which is turbocharged (mine's got the old S/C). I should have told you about that...
Welcome to NAM! Great folks over here...you'll like it.

So...when do I tell my wife I bought it? You know the deal. I never asked for permission....now I have to beg for forgiveness. If she takes it and leaves I'm going to miss Coop.

She missed it out front in the drive or in the garage. Hummm.
Congrats on a nice looking MINI.

Now that one I would not have the cajones to do. More power to you.

Sweet ride..Congrats! It's always easier to do it and ask forgiveness than spend all that time and energy begging/hoping for agreement/acceptance.

Maybe I'm a bit confused, but the MiniUSA site says the 2009/10 R57 with the Turbo has a Twin Scroll turbo (see attached).

I dunno... perhaps there's more to the design on the turbo... I don't see any correlation but then again, I don't know much about the inside workings of their turbos.
Regardless, it's still a turbo.
