Navigation & Audio Nav and Aux cable?

Nav and Aux cable?
I have searched and have not found a definitive answer. I have an 06 MCS with Nav and want to install the factory aux cable in my car. Is there an issue with inputs on this installation? I know the nav has to have an input for the stereo. I have the base stereo (non-HK) and do not have a CD changer.
Will the aux cable kit work without any other needed parts?
