Can it be done?

 

I have seen a thread on this somewhere the guy had a problem though because there was no temp or gas gauge but he pulled his from a navi i think. if you wanna retro fit the temp and fuel gauge into where the speedo is now it may be possible. but there will most likely be alot of rewiring. Retrofit Chronopack was a dealer option.
You need the centre Chrono pack and the twin steering column pack and a BCU program @ the dealer.

Retrofit auto headlights was not a dealer option.......

 

Since the extra option prices are not usually reflected in a used mini with there options, and the retrofit price is so $$$ for anything, if you really want them, buy a different car. If you have the car, and love it, then you might be able to do the headlights....one thread was around about the guages...dealer called it unsupported, but someone did swap them, with issues, and last I read, did not have 100% sucess.
If you install aftermarket guages, you will have more/better info than you get with the factory chronology pack, then add a scanguage2 and you will have full trip computer functionality.
If you are serious about the auto lights/wippers, then some very $$ parts like windshield, and control stalks will be replaced, and the computer (BCM) will need an update....so somewhere north of $2000 just to start...Things like the dash (where the sensor is located, and thevmirror may have to be replaced too!!).
