I recently purchased a second had Cooper S 2004 for my wife and I have a few issues with it. One of them being that the Electrochromatic Rear View Mirror stays blue at all times. Fuse is good but I believe the guy who had it before me had installed his own stereo system as I'm finding some wires, brown and white, behind the centre dash that have been cut and two black wires with crimped ends running from the hand brake area and again tucked in under the vent trim for the glove box to the right of the center consul. I had read that the mirror should go clear when selecting reverse so I was wondering if anyone can help me out with some cable routing and general advice on this issue? Oh I also can't find out how to actually remove the mirror from the header so I wouldn't mind some pointers on that also. Thanks.
