Rubbing noise.,.,

Alright well here is the story I bought this car from quality auto group near Miramar base in san Diego .,., Had the car only one week and started having major problems..,., the car had this weird rubbing noise that was only there in the begging of the day or cold starts through out the day it got worse and worse.,., the noise came from taking off from first or reverse and really didn’t hear it after that, or it warmed up.,., about a few days latter car overheated cause the thermostat went bad and caused a problem with the head gasket so I take the car back.,., the mechanic they have said it was the throw out bearing and head gasket and thermostat and fixed it all.,., supposedly I drive the car one day and park it over night at the house thinking everything was good this morning I check my fluid levels in my reservoir and its bone dry and when I took off first thing this morning the noise came back not as bad but still there.,., any idea of the noise or what I should do? And is there any mechanics you all recommend around the lakeside, ca area..,., thanks for any and all help.,.,
