Last time I had my wheels rotated and balanced was at 32,200 miles. Right now I have 39,121 miles and they have not been rotated yet. I'm wondering how often other mini lovers rotate wheels?

I just got my MCS in Feb. I'm going to rotate and balance every 5,000 miles. Is it better to take it back to the dealership or is Discount Tire ok? I know DT is a lot cheaper.

 

i rotate roughly every 3,000 miles.

 

A tire rotation is pretty simple maintenance, the only problem that I've ever had with a tire shop (not DT) is that they torques my wheels down way too much.

I would just reccommend doing it yourself for free.

 

Two jack stands and a jack - about the price of one rotation at the dealer. What's even easier is that with one jack point you can lift both wheels on one side off the ground. Slide the jack stands swap the wheels and on to the next side.
I do mine every oil change - 5K
