Hello, This is my first post. We just got our first Mini. A 2005 Convertible. Just wondering what are the best cleaners and protectants for the top? I have already found loads of useful information here. Any help and advise would be grateful. Thanks

I use 303 fabric convertible top cleaner followed by the protectant. It seals the top so it repels water/dirt. If your top doesn't bead water than it's not sealed. I use it once in the spring and then in the fall. When cleaning between treatments the top cleans up nicely with just water and a micro fiber cloth. In fact sap got on my top and it cleaned up with water and a scrub.

Thanks Much. The 303 cleaner also looks like a terrific product. I live in Arizona and we don't get much rain here. I will check tomorrow to see if the top "beads" water. Thanks for the information. Great !!
