Greddy Evo 2

hey team,
So ive got this Greddy evo 2 sitting around in my garage and i love how it sounds, so i said to myself, "self, you should put this on the cooper" and thats what my friend and i plan to do to the MCS at his shop. basically what i'm planning out in my head is to just take out everything after the cats mount the muffler in the stock location of one of the *****, cut the tip off and bring it to the rear end. should be fun, doesn't seem like it should be too much of a hassle seeing how we've got the tools, but im sure we'll run into some issues. i'll throw some pictures on here once we finish everything up!

Post a sound clip, should sound pretty good.

Be careful to dodge the inevitable "Too Ricey." comments too.

im not too worried about that, its not like a civic and im keeping the cats on, plus the evo's got a nice deep tone to it. i cant wait to see/hear how it ends up

update:
just a few hours ago we threw it on the lift to see how everything was going to fit up and encountered problem #1. The muffler is giant, all around, so already mounting is not fun. planning on mounting it in one of the ball locations wont work, so, what i'm thinking is mounting it down the center and looping around the battery. hopefully it'll work, if not it was a good run and you all got to see me fail

edit: if anyone has any suggestions on where to mount it/pros-cons, they would be much appreciated

look up the thread on the straight exhaust. moving the battery, or just making the battery box a lot more shallow and getting a brailee race battery seemed to be the two most favored options.
