Horn not working, what to check/where to look?

The title pretty much says it all. I just picked up my first mini (an 08 R56 MCS, LOVE IT!) and the horn isn't working.

It had a salvage title, so the warranty is voided (so I'll try the DIY approach first), and I believe the airbags deployed prior to the rebuild. I'm thinking the horn was probably just not reconnected when the new airbag was installed, but I'm not sure what I should check.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!

Update: I checked the fusebox and the horn fuse is good. I could hear a relay clicking when I push the steering wheel, so it must be something after the fusebox.

Is the horn activated directly by a relay, or does it tell the computer to activate the horn?

Was it a front end collision ? Maybe check to see if they neglected attaching the plugs to each of the horns esp if your MINI had extensive frt end damage.

I dont believe the BCM has anything to do with your horn activation.
