Got '07 Cooper S, vibration and noise questions
-at around 50-70mph there is a high frequency vibration that comes and goes rhythmically (repeats every 1 second). You can feel it in the whole car. It gets worse when turning right and seems to get much better/disappear when turning left.
- Under deceleration there is a whining noise coming from somewhere underneath the car, sounds like it could be the transmission tunnel area or maybe in front.
The car has only 23k miles, but as I have discovered, it was in some kind of curb accident where certain suspension parts in the front and rear right area have been replaced. Even though the car is in warranty, the dealer won't do any warranty work/diagnosis because according to them the car was in an accident.
Anyone have clues about what could be causing those things and what would be the best way to proceed in getting it diagnosed/fixed without getting raped by the dealer?
