repairs starting to annoy me

Well other than the "not wanting to fix cold start rattle" and the "hunt for water leaks", here are a couple other problems.

1. on my clubman's right rear seat, there is a squeak/chirp when you are driving. It is coming from a rubbing motion in the latch. They think it might be a misaligned seatback so they are ordering a brand new seatback.

2. apparently the clutch pedal is loose due to me not depressing the pedal correctly (??). They are only going to replace it this one time for free. I'm not sure how else to push it in. wow...

My '09 Clubbie had the same squeak and it turned out to be that the two rear seat bolts on the passenger front seat were loose. Those are the two T-40 torx head bolts that hold the back half of the seat to the floor, the bolts go through the seat rails...when loose they squeak when driving, metal on metal...drove me crazy.

I have the same rear seat latch problem in my clubman. Both sides chirp like crazy. They have ordered new latches.

can't believe they are going to replace the entire seat back for this little chirp.

I still don't see how the clutch pedal could be used wrong... :(
