Which Mini should I buy?

Hi, I will potentially be a new Mini owner soon, but thought I would put this question out to existing owners that may know more info. I am currently looking at 2 Mini's and trying to decide which is the better deal / way to go:
03 Cooper with 122km's - around $8k
or
04 Cooper S with $172km's - around $10k

Would it be better to get the one with less mileage? are there benefits to one year over the other? benefits of the S over the non S (other than HP of course)

Sorry if this is not the proper place for this questions, but I am new, and look forward to any responses to assist me in my decision.

Thanks....

Motoringfile.com has a great buyer's-guide. Definitely check it out.

I wouldn't call this anything but which high mileage car should I buy. The '03 justa is averaging about 17,500 per year and the '04 S is almost 30,000 a year. I would be leery of both and particularly the S at 10K. You better have a couple of thousand in a fund for repairs. I would continue to look.

Thanks BensMini, but what would concern you about 17K/yr? I think that as per black book an average annual km is 20k ?
