R56 Wheel Spacers....?

I did some searching but couldn't find the answer.....

I have a 2008 MCS with Mach V springs, Web spoke wheels, and 215/45-17 RE-11 Bridgestones. Does any know what is the largest size spacers I could run without rubbings? Looks like maybe 10-15mm might work, but I want to be sure before ordering.

Thanks, Hoopty

Best way to tell is to measure the gap between the outside edge of a tire an the fender lip.

I'm running 16mm spacers on my '07 MCS without any problems so far. I agree with ChrisTKHarris regarding measuring the clearance on your car before ordering. Good luck.

TurnerMotorsports.com sells H&R Trak spacers, they're hubcentric and come with extended bolts.

Generally spacers that are larger than 12 mm are hubcentric. The ones narrower than would not be.

It is better to get the hubcentric ones.

H&R 5mm Spacers

I am going to run with some H&R 5mm spacers on my R56 with 18" JCW R105 wheels. Do you think that using 14 x 1.25 bolts in a 35mm length will be long enough.

They don't need to be, since a thin spacer (5mm, for example) allows the centering snout from the hub to still poke through and center the wheel.

We stock a whole range of H&R spacers for the MINI, by the way. They include longer bolts, too. HERE.
