cat-back exhaust

So I'm really considering getting an OBX exhaust for my coop soon due to the slight rust I wrote about in my last post. It is said to be a "cat-back" but I've heard elsewhere that it's not a true cat-back.

I found one pretty cheap here on ebay:

So my question, is it still just a bolt on to the end of the pre-cat after the header, or will I have to cut my stock pipe? Would this differ from a Megan catback? I'm looking to do the installation myself and am very new to this.

Thanks for any help

It appears to be a regular cat-back system..

Make sure those hanger/straps have some felt or rubber on them or you'll end up with a rattle there most likely..

The Megan sounds less ricey compared to the OBX. IMO better quality too.

I'm not 100% sure that the exhaust in the picture is the exhaust for the MINI.

Just purchased the exhaust this morning before heading to church for Easter Can't wait to install when it comes in. I'm going to have my own personal little race car.

Finally got everything installed and ready to go! It was kinda a PITA to get the old exhaust off (rusty) but the OBX went on like cake. It is noticeably louder but I think it's a much better tone IMO.

Here are some pics of the installation.
