Well I recieved a call from my friend today. Apparently, she saw a MINI convertible on her way to work this morning. I told her they arent out till next year and showed her a pic online of it. She said "Yep that was it for sure". I asked if maybe it coulda been a Jetta or Bug, but she said "No definately a MINI". MINI HQ is around here, so I guess it is possible. I didnt think they took them out in public though. She said she saw it in the same area where the MINI dealer is located.

I've seen the next generation 3-series driving around here. It's all taped up so you can't tell what the headlight/taillight shapes are exactly but it's obvious that it's going to look like the new model 5-series. I came up next to it at a light and it had i-drive as well. I've also seen the prototype (now production) Cadillac SRX and also the Porsche Cayenne being tested before they came out.
