I'm new here and found out about Northamericanmotoring.com from someone in the OL. They told me about the How to Track your MINI post - and it is awesome!

I ordered my chile red convertible on 3/3 and finally went into production yesterday. I can't wait to get my MINI! I had no idea how obsessed I would be after I ordered! It's been fun.

Does anyone know how to figure out your production week? I called the ask MINI line and the person I talked to didn't know. Would it be week 12 since it started production yesterday? Or is it figured on when the MINI is finished? I'd love to join the support group that I've heard about.

it's been a long time since I was in that happy waiting mode, and I forget how to answer your questions...

but i thought i'd at least post back and say welcome, and I do remember that joy, and vicariously you have reminded me

Glad to share, Charlie! Although I might have been a bit misleading. This is fun but it seems to be equal parts pain and pleasure! I really can't wait for my MINI! Delivery will feel like the biggest and best Christmas ever!!!!!
