Qwik Questions for all you Know-it-alls

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for looking at my post. I just picked up a 2010 Clubman S with Premium Sound. There was an envelope with my owners manual that said "Gift from Mini". Inside the envelope was a USB Flash Drive (256MB) that said Mini on it. There was a little note with it that said you could use the usb to move mp3 files into the car and that it would hold up to 10,000 songs.
My question is, does my Mini (without Nav) have a hard drive that can store music files? Any help is appreciated.
Kelly

The MP3's will always stay on the thumbdrive, there's no hard drive or music storage available in the car itself.

When the USB drive is connected, the car will temporarily store the track data for up to 10,000 songs, so that it can offer a selection by track artist or the like.

Yes it is only track data such as artist, genre etc. and not the actual music. When the drive is removed or the car has been off for more than 30 minutes (aprox) the track data will be lost.
