Any clue as to what these cables went to?

I purchased a 2006 MCS last year. It has the HK radio no NAV. I recently found these wires under the dash below the steering wheel. Does anyone happen to know what they might have gone to?
There is also three holes in the right side cup holder (under radio area). Not sure if this was related or not.

(The second pic is turned 90 deg to the right.)

Thanks. Len

I don't know specifically what the cables are, but they are definitely aftermarket and probably go to your radio. The first pic, I'm just guessing but because of the number of pins it probably goes to the radio's CD changer connection and might be for an iPod adapter. The second pic is of RCA audio connectors.

In the second pic. there are two rca connectors and an s-video cable. I thought that strange. I looked at a line-out adapter for an MP3 player but all the ones I found were also male connectors like the ones in the pic. I will prolly have to take it to a audio shop to make heads or tails out of it.

What Richard meant - there's a connection for an optional CD changer in the rear quarter panel compartment. Some aftermarket IPOD adapters (and perhaps satellite radios?) connect to that. This may be an extension cable that runs back to that connection...

Gotcha! Thanks. That would be nice. I will check out some iPod adapters to see. That also might explain the holes in the cup holder. It was for an adapter.
