Britain on the Green Car Show - April 25th Alexandria VA
This and Carlisle are my two favorite 'Sit and listen to people tell me how cool my car is events'. It's a show with people's choice only judging for old and NEW British cars. All drivers, no trailer queens. If we have 5 MINI's PRE registered they create a New MINI class and we get one or more medals based on the number of cars over 5. I've won 1st place 3 years running mostly because of the 5 or more pre registered only about 3 usually show up. Someone come challenge me!
It's a great day with food and live music too. Lots of cars. And being a people choice type thing the New MINI's are very very welcome. This year I'm bringing chairs AND a pop up shelter with my MINI flag hanging as a backdrop so there'll be a MINI basecamp. They do park the cars together by class. People you don't know the fun you're missing not coming and SHOWING your car. Come out and have some fun!
Anyone who'd like wants is also welcome to come to my place also nearby the venue on Saturday if you need a place to wash or do some detailing. Put this on your calendar now it's a great warm up to the Dragon! Their site is not updated yet, it's usually just before, but I got the info and posted so you can save the date!
