I have a Moss skid plate that I'll sell for $75, which is the closeout price I paid for it. Only problem is, the bums at Moss first didn't include the correct mounting bolts, then sent me the wrong ones, and now won't take responsibility for the situation at all. They're lucky I don't live closer.

So, basically you save $60 or so on the skid plate, but have to track down the correct size bolts, which I am too exasperated to do at this point.

It's steel with black powder coating. Weighs 20-25 lbs.

I live in Boston and no longer have the box, so I'd greatly prefer to sell it locally. Willing to drive a bit to meet you somewhere.

Please send me a PM; I don't often check in on this forum.

Thanks!

Hiya

Been admiring your ride and also checkin' the thread on the power steerinng motor protection. Why not the entire supewrstructure. Weighs 25 lbs and everyone is posting on Mods to lighten the load.

Oh well I can MOTOR to Boston or area and take care of everything. I'll track down bolts.

Can't believe MOSS MINI would dis ya like dat.

Check out the thread on ICE is NICE and maybe we could do both.

Cool, let me know when you'd like to meet up! I'll be out of town in Portland this weekend, but I'll be in northwest Connecticut (Litchfield, to be exact) for Thanksgiving thru the weekend - is that closer for you?

I don't know about the ice thing; I've just got the regular old 15" tires, and 12,000 miles without rotating them, so I'd probably be pretty helpless!

I bought it through another vendor. Moss shipped it to them without the bolts, and they proceeded to ship it to me that way. Now Moss is hiding behind the middle man instead of taking responsibility for their product. They've lost me as a customer and as a vocal promoter of their products.

Sounds like the issue is with the 3rd Party.

Litchfiels sounds cool. I'm 20 mins south in Harwinton. Will you be Motoring? Check out RT#8 to Otis Mass. I could show you. 45 mins of Motoring Madness.

Holy crap, yeah Harwinton's the next town over! No way it's 20 minutes if you're in a MINI! I've got a bunch of friends to catch up with next weekend, so I probably won't spend too much time motoring out of town. I know the road you mentioned, though, from my long distance cycling days in Litchfield County. I've actually biked up that way a few times from Litchfield.

Howdy and Hello.

Sorry about the late notice but I'm going to have to take a pass on the Skid Plate.

I'm on the Low Carb weight reduction program and won't need to add the weight of the plate.

Opted for the power steering cover instead.

Sorry for the late heads up.

Happy Thanksgiving

Still for sale, everybody. Save over 40% (plus shipping) from Moss's price! I'm willing to drive anywhere inside of 495 to meet somebody. Also I'll be in Litchfield CT for Thanksgiving this weekend, and Portland ME the weekend after that.
