Well Walt has been returned to the dealership. He was a great car, but we decided to not keep him after his lease ended due to his little incident with water. I hope his new owners get many years of motoring fun out of him.

Now where does this leave us?

Well it left us with a brand new 2010 MINI Cooper

A Dark Silver beauty named Willie

Prem/Sport/Cold Weather package, some nice and shiny Xenon lamps and a lot more good stuff.. No real good pictures of him yet but I have attached two from the morning after driving him home.

We spent 10 hours at the MINI dealership on Saturday working on paperwork, getting things straight for everything..it was a long long day, but the new MINI was obviously worth it.

Now we just need to actually have some free time and make it to a motoring event!

I was just thinking about Walt this morning as I turned my EIM Desk Calendar to the month of March. It now seems like a very fitting tribute to a fine MINI that has served you well.

Hope you guys can make it to Granite City on the 20th so we can gawk and drool over your new MINI.

Yeah, I need to get a good picture to use But before that I need to get brackets for driving lights, summer wheels back on, tint done...so much to do for the new MINI

I did get the XM Radio all wired up nicely and the interior is pretty set to go.

Brackets should be order for lights tomorrow hopefully so I can't those mounted at least, then when warmer weather comes, the daunting task of trying to wire those up...not looking forward to this as the MINI tech said they are super hard to install.... :(

I'd like to have a signature (for posting) much like yours. How do I go about doing it? Keep in mind i'm not real computer savvy so if I need to get a bunch of or have crazy programs to do this then i'll live with my little blurb.

I use photoshop to make mine. I can certainly make you are anyone else who wants one a signature. I just need a photo you want used and some colors you like and I'll just whip something up.
