R56 These @#%$^# Cars! :)
These @#%$^# Cars! :)
Why do they have to be so much fun to drive? Why are they so uniquely styled?
After 2 years and 33K miles with my 2008S, I just ordered a 2010S to join it. I already had most of the option boxes checked, so I added the web spoke wheels and Sirius this time around.
Liked the leatherette so much I did it again. No wear, etc. and so easy to care for. Not even an issue in the Arizona summers.
Specs: Pepper White, leatherette, anthracite headliner, convenience, sport, cold weather and premium packages, automatic, chrome line in and out, dark grey color line, rear fogs, alloy surfaces on dash and door pulls, factory nav unit and sirius radio.
With all the cars in the market, I just couldn't find anything else out there that suited my wants and needs, especially for the dollars. The ownership experience has been very pleasant, as I am used to the foibles of german-engineered cars. In all, only the high-pressure fuel pump needed replacement so far. I guess this is preaching to the choir...
I look forward to joining the collection of other multi-MINI purchasers and plan to keep both of mine in the family.

Being a nav and Sirius fan, you might want to wait for the '11 refresh. The new Mini Connected feature was just formally announced, and it's a massive upgrade to the current nav/infotainment system.

I have Sirius on our MB and it's a nice diversion at times. Unlike some of the posters, I actually like the nav in the MINI. Of course, I am comparing it to MB nav, which isn't exactly the easiest to use via their COMAND interface.
While I'm sure the next MINI version will be better, the time is right to pass the 2008 on to my daughter.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. I guess there's a horsepower increase coming too, but I've never found the 2008 S to be lacking in that regard either.

Congrads MBnAZ!
My wife and I just purchased '10 Clubman S to go along with my 08 MCS. Ours will be completed tomorrow and wait on a ship. I suggested she try the non-s, but after driving mine on the dragon, she was hooked.
