New Dash Kit for Aftermarket Headunit

Today I found this product in installer.com and the price is really good compared to other kits on the market. Review the specifications.

Maybe I'll buy it, but if someone gets it before telling us how it is. I'm outside the U.S.

Great price on the plastic part but there is are some problems.

1. The OEM head unit MUST be move to the secret compartment to use this face plate. It is requried for the car to operate and must remain in the car.

2. The kit does not include the wiring harness needed to move the OEM head unit to the secrect compartment.

3. If you have NAV the OEM head unit is to big to move to the secret compartment so this would do no good at all.

These are just the main problems but there are others that show up it the OEM head unit is moved which are addressed in the Japanese purchased units as they come with all sorts of cable and brackets to mount the OEM head unit and the aftermarket head unit. That is why they cost so much.

See my update here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ventually.html

Metra is currently working on an interface that will simulate the radio so it can be removed from the car...
