Unfortunately Ive had really shitty luck with my car and flat tires. Ive been through 5 flats since I got the car in March of 09. The front tires are no longer run flats and eventually Im going to replace the rear run flats with the same ones up front. So what Im going to do is get a rim and just leave it in my rear hatch and use it as a spare. Im thinking of just getting a stock Mini wheel off of a base model.

Does anyone know what the name of that steel looking Mini wheel off of the base model Mini's? I think its a 15' and has circular holes. It sort of looks like an old school VW steelie rim.

It appears that the donut spare on the 95-98 VW Jetta, 82-89 Honda Accord and the 01-02 Honda Civic has the same offset, hubsnout, bolt pattern and bolt size as the 1st gen Mini. If that is the case I will purchase one from a salvage yard when I ditch my runflats. I have found that prices range below $50. FWIW.
