R50/53 Radio VS Radio Tower and my TIRE IS NOT FLAT
Radio VS Radio Tower and my TIRE IS NOT FLAT
Hi everyone,
I did not see this on any other subjects after a search, and it's kindof a strange thing.
I have a 2003 cooper, named Zabimaru, and it has a manual transmission, and a Harmon/Kardon stereo system.
Ok, so the other day I took my friend up into the mountains (in Colorado, I was probably at about 7,000 feet) to learn how to drive a clutch. We drove around on a really bumpy road, trying to learn.
On the way down toward the city, my two back speakers sounded like they were going to blow, with a very loud HISSSSSS. Then the front two speakers just have a hisssss behind them. I can still hear the radio, but not very well. It's definitely worse near the airport I have to drive by every day. The only thing the airport has in common with the mountains are the radio towers. How do I get my beautiful stereo system to come back?
HELP ME!
Also, I bought brand new tires not three weeks ago, and when I went to get my oil changed, the a-holes overinflated my tires, and now (after I deflated my tires a little bit) at 32PSI where they should be, the 'tire is not inflated' symbol keeps blinking at me and I can't turn it off. How do I turn it off? My tires are exactly fine where they should be, and I am tired of that blinky symbol making fun of me after I bought brand new tires!!! Help me turn the stupid blinky thing off!
PLEASE HELP ME!

Tire light- press and hold the button on the e-brake handle until it the light goes solid, then turn off the car, and turn it back on. should be fine.
Follow supercoopers inst on the reset of your TPM system. If you check your OM, you will find directions there as well explaining that when you adjust the tire pressure, it may be necessary to reset the system.
I would also check all your connections for the HK system. Some are behind the back boot panels. It sounds like you hit a few bumps on that ride ( as stated ) and maybe you have jarred a connection loose.

- Ignition key in position 2
- Press the button long enough for the yellow indicator lamp in the instrument cluster to light up for a few seconds
- Start the engine.
- After a few minutes driving time, the Flat Tire Monitor sets the current inflation pressure in the tires as the target values to be monitored.
you actually can do the tire pressure reset operation even while driving...
my stems leak a little (victims of 113k miles on the tires, that's not a type-o) and i'm always putting air in them.. when it gets cold down here in FL, like it was last month, sometimes that pressure light comes on when i'm down the road and past all the gas stations.. you can just hold the button down until it flashes a couple of times and then let go.. will reset the pressure sensor.
it doesn't actually read the pressure in the tires, it senses changes in pressure from its last reading.. slight change makes the light come on, MAJOR change makes the light flash.
