Hi guys,

I'm looking for a simple phone to replace my too complicated phone. I'm with verizon and was looking on their website. They offer the Samsung Convoy. It says it has bluetooth and is a rugged design.

Has anyone gotten this phone and does it link up well with the Mini bluetooth?

I don't know of anyone that's reported it working, but HTC phones with Windows Mobile 6.1 have all been working matches. The Convoy is supposed to be WM6.5, but it should be a pretty safe bet.

If you wanted to play it safe and wait for someone to test it, most reports show up in the 2nd Gen Bluetooth thread in my sig.

EDIT: Also, it depends on the store, but some others around have spoken to a sales person and gotten permission to try the phone out before buying it. Others have had to buy and test it first and exchange if it doesn't.

 

Any update on this phone? Verizon's free upgrade phone choices are very limited and it is tough finding one that seems to work well in our MINIs.

 

No reports on the Convoy so far...
