have fun today Mark...hopefully the wind won't make the track too dusty and slippery with all the dust.

Wish I could be there

When are we going to "play" at Mtn. View (Mead).
A much more technical track (not to mention just two exits away from
my cabin!)..
Was designed and built (I believe) by Yamaha as a test track for bikes.
So it's much tighter, has off camber corners & nice elevationchanges to boot.

Just curious~
Cris
ps. So how was SCR ??

Isn't that the dirt track next to I-25?

Nope, it's only a dirt track when you get it all wrong!

You might be thinking about the motocross track outside of Berthoud @ the i-25 exit for Berthoud.

It's a lot more technical than SCR, spooky scary at times but rewarding when all goes well.

Just a thought......

Cris,

Set it up, I'll be there! Mead is closer to my house than SCR, I've never driven it and don't know about their open track times.
SCR was great, sticky tires and a pulley were good for 10MPH on teh back straight.

Mark

just tried to get hold of them.
must be closed for the holiday.
official name is Continental Divide Racepark.
4133 weld county road 34 (Mead exit @ I25)
I'll call again after the beginning of next week.
I'll go ahead and post on Randy's page also.

Would it be cool if I invited a couple other non MINI's ??
One of my co-workers just bought one of those damn Lancer Evo-8's
(with the dinner table for four wing) & another guy has a 'tricked up'
Subie WRX.....
Might be fun no??

Cris
