Electrical need help with boost guage install

need help with boost guage install

so i got a 09 mini-s and im tryin to install a truboost boost controler/boost gauge and and im havein a lil problem with it. the guage reads the vacuum just fine but it wont read boost can anybody help me ive been workin on it for 2 days now and its infuriating

Where did you get your boost/vacuum source from? Most Mini parts vendors sell a sandwich plate that lets you use the port the MAP sensor plugs into.

It sounds like your source is no good. The only documented boost/vac source available that I can find is the MAP sensor. Alta and Craven Speed both sell sandwich plates. There may be others as well.
