R57 Chrome fuel filler cap on R57

Chrome fuel filler cap on R57

Has anyone tried to install the Chrome fuel filler cap on Cabrio?
I like the looks of that but I understand that it is only for Cooper S Hatchbacks?

Clubman's also have the chrome gas cap on the S model a well.

I can probably be done.

I can not be done. Unfortunately the convertibles (first and second gen) don't have the extra space in the rear quarter panel for the chrome fuel assembly. This is because the of the motors and mechanics for the top all take up all the space that is needed. It sucks, but there is no work around.

Maybe we can't have the chrome fuel filler cap, but the coupe people can't put their top down, so we are much cooler than they.

That's why the parts details said nothing about R57.... I'm kinda bummed out. :(
